It’s officially the first day of spring!!! Just like for any season, you have to have a bucket list for this season too. Writing this list has made me so excited for spring, so here we go!
- Fly a kite
- Take pictures of the pretty trees + flowers blooming
- Have a nice picnic around the pretty colors
- Go on a random road trip or two
- Visit the farmers market
- Rollerblade lots and lots in the park
- Make a bird feeder (we have bird food, just never got around to making them a house)
- Take our niece and nephew to the park
- Plan out April and May in my planner
- Spend time outside as much as I can, soak up the warm sun
- Go to the Botanical Gardens
- Buy fresh flowers
- Make our front/back yard look nice
- Look for bunnies
- Have a BBQ at the park
- Take lots of photos of my husband and I outside
- Plan our California trip
- Plan our 2-3 summer trips
- Prank my husband for April Fool’s Day
- Keep the windows open at home as much as we can, let the fresh air flow in
- Set up our patio table and chairs
- Read on my Kindle outside
- Feed ducks
- Visit 2-3 zoo’s outside of our city
- Get an Banana split ice cream and eat it with my husband at the park
So far this is my list, I think if I remember anything else I’ll just add it. It’s not a super long list so I think I can accomplish it. You can tell I just want to spend a lot of time outside!

February has gone by so fast and I can’t believe that tomorrow is March 1st! I thought I’d take some time to reflect back on February and see if I accomplished anything I wanted to accomplish.
February felt like it went by quickly, but in the moment it was passing by so slow! I spent the beginning of the month attempting to get back into a diet of some sort and a workout routine. Well, I can say that I’ve got both of them down. Which is surprising because I feel like I’ve been trying to do that for the past three months. I think my whole mindset changed.. summer is only what, three months away? I need to get in shape and actually follow a healthy diet plan. My husband and I decided to get back on Keto so we could get that boost of weight loss and then after we have gotten to our goal weight, we will switch back to a normal diet. Keto for me is fine for a short-term weight loss option, but I don’t really like doing it for a long period of time. Plus, spring/summer is going to be here soon and I love fruit way too much to miss out on that! We have a nice market close to us here with the freshest of fruits and we always miss out because we’re on a diet. And since we have a trip coming up at the end of May and possibly end of April, I want to look and feel my best! So hopefully by our next trip I will be exactly where I want to be. I just wished I started earlier, but at least I started now!
I didn’t get to blog as much as I did this month, so that will be one of the things I will be focusing on next month. March is slightly busy for a couple days at work because we have some events going on, but aside from that it won’t be too bad. That will give me a lot of time to focus on myself and not be so stressed out.
Also hoping that March will be much warmer than February. I am SO tired of the cold and have never been more excited for Spring to arrive! This winter feels like the longest one we’ve had in forever and from what I remember, didn’t the ground hog say we’re going to have an early Spring?!?! Warmer weather makes me so much more productive and I’m so ready for those picnics in the park with my husband 🙂
Aside from all of that, I think it was a pretty good month. There were some long weeks, but I had fun. January and February always seem like they pass by the quickest and I always forget about what happened in those two months! It’s like it’s a blur after New Years until summer! Hoping for March to be filled with lots of happiness, fun, smiles, and time outside!

Happy Thursday! So yesterday was one of the worst days ever.. I went to class and Mirhad told me to come over after school because he’s going to get us some food and we were supposed to chill and watch some movies the whole day. Out of nowhere, my left side starts to hurt so bad, like excruciating pain and I just started bawling and screaming from the pain. So Mirhad took me to the ER and we were there from 1:30 pm until 7 pm. Longest day of my life. Of course, it was my kidney stone trying to come out. First time I had one was a year and a half ago and they showed me that I had one left in each kidney. I didn’t think it would happen this fast, but it was so random too. It sucks because my shower is 3 days away and they said it’ll pass in 3-4 days and if it doesn’t, I’ll have to have surgery. Worst timing ever lol. As of right now, it’s like mild pain, nothing compared to yesterday. But it’s got to come out so the pain is going to get bad sometime soon
Anyways, that’s what happened yesterday. I’m about to go to class soon and then after Adisa is going to come over to try out some makeup looks for my shower and then I’m literally doing nothing the rest of the day lol.
I’m in class and about to finish this post up, while trying to pay attention to what is going on! I feel like this material isn’t going to be too hard, it’s about capital budgeting basically so I feel like it won’t be too difficult (hopefully).
But yeah I’m praying I don’t feel any pain right now during class and any time for the rest of the week lol.

I’m not really afraid to ask for anything, but I am usually not the one to speak up and ask a question. I don’t like being loud and I don’t like being at the center of attention. So I’m not afraid to ask, I just don’t want that attention on me. I’ll usually wait until after to ask my question. Maybe that is something I need to change about myself.. if I have a question, I should ask it. I shouldn’t be shy about it.

Still super sick, but worked on the house majority of the day today. Now I’m at Mirhad’s college working on some homework while he is doing some work for CTQ and then he’s going to help me with my micro homework. Also Sanela is here and I haven’t seen her in a while so yay! ❤ About to fix up my vision board pics and then print them FINALLY. I’m excited to see how it will look!!!
Need to write what I need to do this week for class and outside of school. Got a micro exam on Wednesday (idk wth I’m doing) and lots of stuff due for online class. Gotta write my to-do list soon, my fav part of the week 🙂

So yeah, that’s the update on the house!
Was having a really nice morning, but that managed to go to shit in about 30 minutes, so that’s nice. Have a lot of stuff to do today and I am freaking out. I don’t even want to talk about my midterm today, one lesson learned: never fall behind on notes and material, always be up-to-date and learn the stuff. Don’t wait like I did.
Trying to drink more water everyday so my skin can get better. The goal is to drink 1 water bottle every 2-3 hours??? I just researched it and apparently drinking 1 bottle every hour is too much, but what do I know? 🤷🏽♀️
Went to Walmart yesterday and got a variety of different teas. I got this hibiscus one, some stress-relief tea, and one for your throat (bc my dads sick so I thought this would help + it’s useful to have in the house). Stress-relief one tasted good last night, I feel like I am pretty stressed out right now, it sucks. Drinking the hibiscus one now and this is just like the passion fruit tea from Starbucks. I usually get it iced, but this tastes good hot, too! Eating some strawberries too, they are actually sweet and I’m surprised because I haven’t had sweet ones in forever. A lot of the time over the summer they were sour, but it’s the middle of winter why are they so good?!??!?!?? Shoutout to Sam’s Club 😀 ❤
Have to do my investments discussion before I go to class today and when I come back from my exam, I need to do my investments midterm online. Kind of worried about how that one will be, hopefully it’s mostly multiple choice.
It’s supposed to be 47 degrees today, much warmer than the past week and tomorrow it’s supposed to be 57 degrees!!!!!! Hell yes! Going to go running tomorrow for sure, need some fresh air and warm weather. This type of weather makes me excited about planting flowers and gardening, Spring can’t come fast enough!!
Colorado mountains in Spring time. ❤ Mountains today because it’s my motivation for the future. I will one day live in close proximity to these beauties. I can and I will. Also the flowers in this picture remind me of when I drove to Colorado over the summer in August with Mirhad and there were daisies all besides the highway all up to Denver 🙂 ❤ Miss it, maybe another trip soon? ❤ ❤
