Chicago November 27-29, 2015

Second trip to Chicago in 2015, but this time it was with my family, Sanela’s family, and my little sisters best friend’s family. It took 3 cars of families for us to travel there and it was actually really fun. We were there for about 2 nights and it was the end of November which means COLD for Chicago ❄️

These 2 days were spent exploring and walking around the North side of the city (basically where everything is). We had the deep dish pizza (obviously) and just visited everything we could since we had limited time. I remember walking down Michigan Avenue where all of the stores were and being so cold. I think I wore like 2 jackets and 2 pairs of leggings at the time and was still kind of cold. At this time, there were some protests going around and they had shut down some of the stores. It was a cool thing to see people protesting peacefully.

We went to the Bean and took some pictures for like 30-45 minutes since there were like 14 of us we all had to get some cool pics. The lights were so pretty around that area since it was the holiday season, Christmas lights bring me joy 🎄

Overall, it was a fun trip and we all got to do some bonding. Hope we can do this again one day!
